Personal isues

I was planning on saying goodbye to designing for some time, but I found out it is comforting to let my creative juices flow. Last Tuesday I was operated on an ectopic pregnancy, while I thought I lost the pregnancy 2 weeks before. I am not going back to work until after the Christmas break, but I have designed a bit. I had some stuff that was almost finished, take a look:

This last kit has gotten a special meaning, since I created it while I was pregnant without even knowing. Getting pregnant in the future is unsure, so the name (which I thought of before the kit was even getting shape) is very special. I decided to donate this kit to charity, if you buy it in my DigitalPaperHearts store, the funds will go to Janice Brasil, store-owner, and her husband. They are trying to adopt, and they need lots of money to make this dream come true. I am very blessed to have a daughter, and we are sure that we will have other children in the future, no matter how. So please, if you are willing to buy this kit, consider buying it at DPH. Other designers have created for this charity as well, check out here.

new CU stuff

I created 2 CU packs, 1 with fabric overlays and 1 with fabric styles.

Use these overlays to create your own fabric papers! Available at GroovyScraps and DigitalPaperHearts for $4.00

With these styles you can create your own fabric textured elements. Use the bevelled one to create buttons, use the flat one to create flat elements. Ad a bit of color, and you're done!

renewing old freebies

I was cleaning up my ehd, and found some of my 'old' freebies. That's really weird, cause they are not so old, only a couple of months. But I think I grew so much quality-whise, some of the freebies deserve a make-over.

I participated in the charity collab at GroovyScraps. We came up with a huge kit, and this is what the description says:

My Strength is a charity kit that will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (www.nmss.org ). One of the designers here at Groovy Scraps suffers from this disease so it is near and dear to our hearts. This is a collaborative kit created by several of our designers here at Groovy Scraps. The colors used were based on the colors adopted by the NMSS on their logo. This kit is huge!! It is almost 230 MB. It has 44 papers, 74 elements plus a full alpha with upper and lower case alphas, numbers and some symbols. All papers are 12x12 inches and created at 300dpi. The elements are all in png format and created at 300dpi.

Secret mission and some lo's

My second Sunshine mission is completed, but "the enemy" is doing everything to prevent me from uploading ;) First 4Shared had his problems (I think they chose the DSD weekend to review the system LOL), then the Sunshine gallery doesn't seem to like my entry!


So, I'm putting it here, with a link to the gallery (and I'll put a link to my blog in the Sunshine forum), so that I can sleep tonight. Tomorrow is a busy day for me, and Tuesday too, so I don't know if I have the time to upload again :(





This is my 2nd mission: Crafters Paradise! I used the first (green) picture for inspiration, I really like the colors (and took a couple of them as a swatch). They first make me think 'children's bedroom', but along the go it became a Crafters Paradise ;)
This kit contains:

• 6 papers (2 solids, 4 patterns)

• 1 crochet flower (crocheted and extracted by me :D)
• 1 diamond shape element

• 1 doodle stitch
