Oh, you'll love this! I'm going crazy, don't know what it is, maybe the rainy weather, maybe raging hormones, who knows. The fact is: I just put all my kits on $1 at Scrapable, for Wipe Out Wednesday tomorrow!! So you'll have more then a day to shop and get everything you want for practically NOTHING!

New kit and a freebie!

Although I am a summer-person, I do like some things about fall. For one, the colors, I love the change of colors in nature in this season! And for some reason I like to craft with the children in my class during fall, cause there's just so much fun things to create. As long as it doesn't rain, I like the fall LOL

Colour Splash!

At Sunshine Studio Scraps it's time for another Colour Splash! What does this mean? Well, a bunch of designers got together, used the same swatch and created all kinds of goodies for you to grab. The beauty of it is that you can mix 'n match, grab different pieces (for a small price) and create your own megakit!
So, here's what I have in store for you (images are linked):

And since the colours reminded us of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (in October), I decided to throw in a themed element pack too:

I am lucky enough to say I have not encountered breast cancer in my life (in my family or close-by), but it is a very important issue, hence the name of all my stuff: Be Aware. Off course you can use the alpha and the paperpacks for totally different projects, and even this elementpack leaves you lots of room to use it on whatever you like. Make sure you check out the other Colour Splash items too!!

What a week!

Yesterday I officially reached the '30-weeks-mark': only 10 more weeks till the due date! Time has flown by, specially since I've felt so good during this pregnancy. But... maybe I said that too much out loud, cause I got knocked down the last week. On Tuesday I started to cough a bit (try THAT without using your tummy muscles OUCH), and Wednesday I woke up with massive muscle ache in my belly. Every turn, kick, knock inside, but also bending over or even raising my voice hurt! I called my boss to tell him I wouldn't be able to work on Thursday, and that turned out to be a good thing, cause that afternoon the fever came up. With all the hassle about flu and stuff, I knew I had to call my doc about this, cause I'm in the final trimester of my pregnancy, but I wasn't too worried. On Thursday the fever was gone, thank heaven, and now I only have a nasty cough left. It still hurts like h*ll when I cough, but I'll survive ;)


Ok, enough small talk! New kit time!!

The colors for this kit made me think of a boys kit. For the nursery I have been thinking about an owls - forest theme, so I have been browsing the internet for owls images A LOT the past few weeks. So you see what inspired me ;)
